The Explorer is for surfers who want to surf a longer performance board in waves up to 6 foot. This board has an outline proven to perform. Depending on what size waves you hope to surf, the tail lift can be varied to suit. For example, flatter breaking places like Middleton would require a flatter rocker, whereas for waves like bigger days on the Mid Coast or Pondie at Yorkes Peninsula, more lift in the tail and nose would be suitable.
